RealEngineSim is a simulation game that you can enjoy the real engine sound of cars and motorcycles made by the innovative engine sound synthesis technology.
RealEngineSim uses technology completed through years of research by engine sound professionals in Hamamatsu, a region known as a home to the world’s automobile and motorcycle manufacturers. Using this technology, we have created the world’s only iPhone app able to regenerate real engine sounds.

○This app is a simulation game in which you can enjoy the speed control and the innovative engine sound of manual mission vehicles.

○The use of a speaker gives you even more realistic and muscular sound.
However, we would ask you to enjoy this app with an earphone or a headset when using it in public places.
(* Please be extra careful of the volume in order not to either hurt your hearing or trouble people around you.)

◆ Available vehicles ◆
Four types: passenger cars, sports cars, sports motorcycles, and racing cars.
You can also enjoy controlling the acceleration, braking, clutch, and shifting of manual transmission vehicles (Auto-Clutch available).
*There are eight additional engine sounds available for in-app purchase.

◆ Pursuing realistic engine sound ◆
Precise vehicle models and innovative engine sound synthesizers were used to achieve real engine behavior and powerful engine sound that cannot be experienced through other racing games.
Features life-like tire slippage caused by sudden acceleration and braking.

◆ The Driving Mode ◆
There are two modes: free driving and speed tracing
Speed tracing is a game in which the object is to drive at a specific target speed.
Expert mode features the racing speed data from racing cards driving on famous courses from around the world, giving you the chance to experience the excitement of racing on real courses.
* The game modes, such as the chicken race, are available for in-app purchase.

* The new technology of engine sound synthesis used in this app was developed by an engineer, who started his own business after a long time research on the sound at Yamaha Motor Co.,Ltd. (motorcycle manufacturer). The patent application is now in preparation.

Pros and cons of RealEngineSim app for iPhone and iPad

The update was great. The sound has changed amazingly. I liked most of the changes. Just one thing, when driving with manual clutch, once I could shift down freely if I let out the clutch, however, this update seems to have made it impossible. Shifting seems to be restricted by the engine speed. This spoils reality. Almost all are excellent, so if the above thing is fixed, Ill give 5 stars! THX! :-)

dear creators of real engine sim, this app is wonderful. everytime i ride somewhere in a car with my mom i always bring this app along and act like the engine is my moms toyota highlander

First... Let me just say that is is by far one of my favorite apps in the app store! But i, as well as everyone else, would be much more satisfied if you guys were to add some more vehicles to the game. For example some trucks. Or perhaps a turbocharged car like a toyota supra or skyline gtr. This addition would emencly enhance this game. Thanks a lot for this great game guys! Hopefuly the new update comes soon!!

Really loved this app but then I switched over to Samsung for a while. Now I recently came back to Apple and this was the first app I Downloaded. Seeing that it just updated today I thought itd be cool to try it out again.

This game is really cool. I like the variety of vehicles available. Also like the different modes. A couple of suggestions would be to improve the sound quality on some of the vehicles; as they sometimes feel unsynchronized or have a crappy sound, and please fix this little bug where some of the cars dont have a speedometer. Overall very good app. Will give five stars if these faults are fixed!

Some bad moments

Its not really an engine sound simulator. Its just a very difficult blind-driving game with really poor sound effects.

I dont care if other reviews dont like it. Those people just do not love the roar of the engine and the thrill of being behind the wheel of the passenger car, sport bike, sports car or f1. I love the clutch and how they have accurate sounds of the motor accelerating or decelerating. I also love the fact that you dont have to use the clutch while driving. If you love engine sounds, this is your app. Thanks to all the people who made this app. I love it. In fact, this is the first game out of about 100 I have rated 5 stars. An option for an MPH setup would be good too. Car upgrades like : turbo(with the sound), intercooler, exhaust, intake, etc… would be nice. Also an option to take the graph off in free mode and place a gauge cluster there (with a turbo gauge, if installed) If graph is wanted, a zoom in feature would be nice too. A wide range of cars and bikes would be amazing. Overall, the game is fun, but the clutching takeoff is a little but unrealistic…

Please add a 1000cc supersports bike with a cross plane crankshaft in the next version.

This is one of the best apps on my iPod. This would be even better if you got to make custom cars with no speed limits it would be better but this is my favorite app. Great job! Simon
